This warm and inviting home is located in the highly desirable, quiet and wooded area of Moonridge in Big Bear Lake.
It’s a beautiful and comfortably furnished, 2 bedroom, 2 bath home with many extras. Both bedrooms have queen-size beds with an adjoining full bathroom. On the main floor there’s a very comfortable queen-size sleeper/sofa sectional and full bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, refrigerator with icemaker, microwave oven and gas stove plus a variety of utensils and spices. On the upper deck, adjacent to the kitchen, there’s a propane BBQ with dining table and chairs. There’s a washer/dryer, telephone with modem connection and a piano for fun sing-a-longs in front of the large wood-burning fireplace. For additional entertainment, there are 4 TVs, 3 VCRs, 3 DVD Players, videotape and DVD collection and sound system with CD player. One of the televisions is a High Definition LCD (40”) with premium cable channels including Showtime. Forced-air heating provides comfort on cool evenings and throughout the winter months.
French doors provide entry to the private and secluded decks off each of the two lower-level bedrooms. Besides barbecuing and dining, the upper deck offers beautiful distant views of Bear Mountain’s ski slopes and the surrounding forest. In addition to all that Big Bear Lake has to offer, you’ll enjoy the opportunities to read, relax and feed the squirrels and different species of wild birds from all three decks. A secluded swing is situated on the lower part of the property near the cabin’s seasonal stream and is a great place for intimate picnics and relaxation. You’ll feel like you have the forest to yourselves.
After just one visit, you’ll find out why this often-requested home is a rental favorite of previous guests. It’s also a great place for a honeymoon, anniversary or to celebrate any very special occasion. For an additional charge, you can also enjoy the six-person Arctic Spa, year round, situated on the private deck just off the Master bedroom.
Note: In the winter months, roads are snowplowed frequently but excess snow from plowing creates limited parking. The upper driveway and parking pad will accommodate two cars when there is excessive snow.
